RESEARCH USE ONLY / COMPLIANCE DISCLAIMER

This is the master Research Use Only ("RUO") statement for Veracyl ("Veracyl", "we", "us"). It applies to all Products and all use of the Site, and is incorporated into the Terms of Service.

1. RESEARCH USE ONLY

1.1. All Products are supplied strictly for laboratory and in-vitro research use only.
1.2. Products are intended solely for use by, or under the direct supervision of, qualified professionals in a controlled laboratory setting.

2. WHAT PRODUCTS ARE NOT

2.1. Products are not drugs, medicines, or pharmaceuticals; not dietary supplements; not food or food additives; and not cosmetics or medical devices.
2.2. Products are not for human or veterinary use, and are not for any clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, preventive, nutritional, or cosmetic use.

3. NO REGULATORY EVALUATION; NO MEDICAL CLAIMS

3.1. Products have not been evaluated, approved, registered, or licensed by any regulatory authority for any use, including the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), or any other Indian or foreign regulatory authority.
3.2. We make no medical, health, therapeutic, performance, or benefit claims about any Product. Any research summaries or evidence gradings provided are educational, describe the state of published research, are not claims about outcomes in humans or animals, and are not medical advice.
3.3. No dosing, administration, or formulation-for-use guidance is provided anywhere on the Site.

4. BUYER RESPONSIBILITY FOR SAFE HANDLING AND LOCAL LEGALITY

4.1. The Buyer is responsible for the safe and compliant receipt, handling, storage, use, and disposal of Products, in accordance with all applicable laws, institutional protocols, and good laboratory practice.
4.2. The Buyer is solely responsible for determining and complying with the legality of purchasing, importing, possessing, and using each Product in the Buyer's jurisdiction, and for obtaining any permissions required there.

5. NO RESALE FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION

5.1. Products must not be resold, distributed, transferred, or supplied for human or veterinary consumption, or to any person the Buyer knows or should reasonably know intends such use.

6. CHECKOUT ATTESTATION AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

6.1. At checkout, the Buyer confirms that they are a qualified researcher purchasing for in-vitro / laboratory research use only and that they accept this Disclaimer and the Terms of Service. This attestation is recorded with the order as "Research verification accepted".
6.2. By purchasing, the Buyer assumes all responsibility and risk arising from their receipt and use of Products.
6.3. This disclaimer operates together with, and does not limit, the Terms of Service, including the disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification provisions.
